About me
I'm a British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited and registered counsellor / psychotherapist. I have been working therapeutically with people in various settings for more than twenty years (initially through my roles in educational settings, community projects and in home office secure accommodation).
During the mid-1990s I became increasingly interested in deeper psychological ways of working and, in 1996, I began to undertake various certificated qualifications in counselling, therapy, psychology and supervision.

My own experience of personal therapy was through a twice weekly Jungian analysis and this has helped to inform my work and remind me what it feels like to be in the opposite chair. Although psychodynamically trained, I currently professionally draw on many therapeutic models within psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) frameworks.
Professional memberships
I am a BACP registered and accredited counsellor / psychotherapist bound by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I am also Registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) as a therapeutic hypnotherapist.
